Instead of my usual outfit post this Sunday, I wanted to show you around another place I visited in London. Myself and Arabella met up for brunch, and she suggested the Sanderson Hotel off of Oxford street. I always trust her judgement as she finds the most amazing spots for brunch and coffee that are always very Pinterest worthy.
The Sanderson certainly looked the part, as I had expected! It is mainly known for it’s Alice in Wonderland themed afternoon tea, which I will certainly be going to try one day. Arabella and I just poppoed in for a small brunch, and both ordered coffee and pancakes. I wouldn’t suggest coming here on a weekly basis as it is quite pricey for what it is, but the experience is worth it as a treat. The pancakes were delightful and so was the coffee, they definitely tasted as good as they look. It’s a lovely place just off of Oxford Circus so a great spot for ducking away whilst having a break from shopping. I would definitely go again, but as mentioned it would be for the afternoon tea which looks incredible from the set up and decor alone.
The day was beautiful, with a hazy grey sky and spring like feel in the air. It was rather chilly but we couldn’t help but get really excited about the sunshine and blossom making an appearance. So I gladly danced around in the daffodils, took photos of the golden hour and appreciated every door we came across – Hello #doorappreciation!!
If you fancy a wonder in London then Knightsbridge certainly doesn’t disappoint, although I do feel rather nosey. The houses are beautiful and after a delicious brunch it makes you feel like you’re in a movie. I suggest trying it for yourself one day even to see how the ‘other people’ live!
