If there is one thing I am totally loving right now, it is the winter pastel trend!! I have immediately jumped on this pretty band wagon and put together my own sweetie hued outfit. If you have followed my blog for a while now you will know that when it comes to lighter shades, it is when I feel my most comfortable and happy. It brings me a taste of nostalgia and to be able to wear this look in the winter and get away with it is awesome. I find mixing something pastel with dogtooth, check, striped or any kind of soft pattern looks really cool and perfect for bring the shades into the colder environment. The patterns add more of an edge to a summer colour pallet.

Pink eyelash Jumper – Chicwish
White blouse – Republic
Dogtooth Skirt – Handmade
Black tights – Primark
Black Boots – Red or Dead at Schuh
Coat – Topshop
Necklace – John Greed
Flower headband – Crown & Glory
My outfit includes those aspects and I felt sugary sweet in the look. The head band from Crown and Glory is the perfect pastel accessory as well. I made this dogtooth skirt and it goes with everything, from darker colours like emerald green and burgandy to these pink shades and pale blue! I have seen some dogtooth trousers in Topshop and they are really out of my price range so I wanted to recreate the look using things I already own. The pink eyelash jumper is from Chicwish and is so warm and good quality, unlike some I have seen around the highstreet. I went for minimal basics, like black tights and boots to keep the rest of the look fairly plain and the jumper is detail enough. What are your thoughts on this paste ltrend and if you like it i’d love to see your posts styling something similar!
