I didn’t really go for any particular theme here, it was more a concoction of clothes and colours that happened to take my fancy. I got this new shirt from George, as well as the ‘treggings’ which I rather like wearing together. The shirt has pretty rose gold buttons and they only had a size 14 left so I just brought it for the over-sized look (hopefully it looks okay)! I added a vintage silk scarf around the neck, tied into a bow – It is a really easy way to accessorise and keep warm as well. Pussy bow styles are going to be a huge trend this season and next so it made a cute addition to the plain shirt. The coat is one of my favourites for wearing on dull days, it’s such a fun colour that I always feel good in.
Lastly…the BAG!! I fell in love with it a few weeks ago and haven’t stopped begging my boyfriend to buy it for me. Finally I own it and I couldn’t be happier, it’s so adorable and perfect for being my typical tourist self around London. It’s from Accessorize and they have some adorable novelty styles in at the moment, definitely worth checking out.
I’m rather enjoying the throwing anything on approach to my personal style right now. It makes me happier not controlling the colours so much and just having fun with it. Thats my one tip from this post is to just have fun with your current style. The lead up to spring can feel long and stupidly cold, so why not mix it up and layer your funkiest prints. Let me know what you do in the comments.
