As promised, here is another Sunday outfit post! This week has been pretty miserable, with starting back at work after the holidays and the weather getting progressively worse. As this post goes up I would have just moved into my new flat (yes, moving yet again) and my life has become even more chaotic. Hopefully things will start to settle down as we unpack our belongings and get back into a new routine, but for now it is what it is.

This outfit today doesn’t really suit the title I went for of ‘Rainy day’, it just so happened that I got caught out in the rain whilst taking photos. The coat is an old one I brought from Topshop about 5 years ago and still treasure but don’t mind if it gets drizzled on. On rainy days, a hat can be essential if your coat doesn’t have a hood, like this one, so my old trusty bowler hat was luckily on my head when the clouds decided to open!
This rust coloured skirt is a sale purchase from Topshop, brought a couple of weeks ago. I absolutely adore it and on this occasion I teamed it with vintage cream roll neck jumper tucked in. This combo of a delicate leaf necklace, old favourite coat and hat with black boots has got to be one of my all time favs. The mix of preppy and retro styles with autumnal colours makes me extremely happy and ready to embrace the weather, come rain or shine.
