Living in London is my dream, and I love being able to share my days out on my blog. I ventured to my favourite place of South Kensington to meet with my long time blogger chum
Arabella. It’s been so lovely meeting up with her and catching up lots recently, fair to say we are on the same wave length with many things. We decided to stay in South Kensington and ‘cafe crawl’, okay, so we went to two places pre and post taking photos for our blogs but it was lovely to experience two places in one day! So of course, I am sharing them with you as well as my ootd for the day.

Top – Miss Selfridge
Jacket and Shorts Suit – Asos
Shoes – Zara
Earrings – Primark
So although I have been moaning about the contents of my wardrobe, I do still like about 80% of it. This little floral suit from Asos is among my favourites and although is from last year, it doesn’t feel un-trendy as of yet! As always, when meeting up with Arabella I always feel it’s the perfect excuse to dress my best, as of course she always looks so gorgeous I can’t turn up in my faded floral dresses (not that there is anything wrong with them haha).
As we were spending a rather sunny day in South Kensington I went for a simple black cami with rose detailing on the neckline, with my lace up shoes from Zara, a really simple necklace and pretty earrings. The combo with the floral suit worked perfectly and I felt pretty but also fit for the hot day.
We started off at
Caffe Concerto, it is a little off street cafe and restaurant near South Kensington station. We opted for a sweet option rather than savoury, but they serve pizza and other delicious food. You can see in the photos we went for waffles (great choice if I do say so myself) Arabella kind of made up her order and I asked for ice cream and they were happy to oblige. It’s a beautiful little setting, especially if you get an outdoor table on a sunny day. We drank our hot drinks and waffles and talked loads about everything, as well as people watching.
We then ventured off to take photos around the famously white and pristine streets. If you have a dog or live in London then I seriously recommend wandering these pretty streets, they are a sight for sore eyes and I always dream that one day I could live there.
After enduring the heat taking pretty snaps we ducked into another restaurant, this time to eat! I didn’t take note of the name as we were too hungry and boiling!! However the point I want to make is that if you are meeting for the day with friends then this is a great place to go.
Obviously if you are being a tourist then it’s the museum sector with the V&A, National History and Science museum. Then if you want lunch or to finish the day in a great restaurant or cafe then you have so many to choose from!! How about not opting for a chain and trying a smaller local business, you get better service and quality of a different experience.
