Just a quick post this evening my loves, hope you don’t mind! I can’t tell you how much I am loving my flat and simple home comforts. Since having some time off work and being ill, I have been relaxing as well as getting extremely crafty with several DIY posts on there way.
Being at home also means making delicious food, Chris and I have been a bit porky as of late! With pancakes and bacon for brunches and big dinners with cheese often making an appearance. I think that is what January is all about in my opinion, making the most of being comfortable, spending less and eating well.
With my personal style it also reflects the mood of the season with warm and cosy looks. Lots of layers, jumpers, tights, socks and dresses! Of course I still try and be as fun and quirky with my outfits but at times it’s nice to just enjoy the simple style of a cosy jumper and skirt combo. Like this lovely white roll neck from She Inside, hand made skirt (in my most recent DIY post) and not a lot else!! Who else is feeling the cold and enjoying home life now Christmas is over?
