My oh my, it’s been yet another week! Where is time going right now, wish I could say I purely spending it doing amazing things but sad to say I haven’t! Well the weekend just gone, I did goto visit my friend in London, attended an Ann Summers party (that was interesting) and the following day with to a Blythe Doll meet up, so of course that was exciting. All I did the rest of the time is work, and sleep! Been nothing but sleepy lately, the wonders of chronic fatigue that comes with my list of health woes. We wont ponder on that for now though because I have an outfit below to talk about, enjoy guys.

Dogtooth pinafore dress – Handmade by me
Mint green blouse – Chicwish
Grey tights – Primark
Tan cardie – Primark
Tan Adidas Trainer Boots – Schuh
Green Charm Fishbone Bracelet – John Greed (charm and bracelet sold separately)
I can’t deny the fact, the spring summer trends creeping in already have me ‘ooo’ and ‘ahhh’ ing with excitement. One of the key trends I love, it plain, dogtooth (houndstooth) and simple monochrome patterns mixed with pretty fresh colour pallets. Will do a blog post on my Sprint/Summer styles to come along with some DIY’s.
This outfit is inspired by whats in the shops, without my bank balance letting me spend away, I have had to do my best with what I own!! The outfit is my ordinary everyday style, casual, playful with pretty soft colours. On this occasion I wanted to wear my hand made pinafore dogtooth dress, in the same fabric as this skirt I made in
a post not too far back. I love it, it goes with everything and always seems to be bang on trend, who would like me to make some to sell?
It goes perfectly with pastel colours, and this beautiful blouse from Chicwish last year, has the loveliest square (almost collar) detail that sits over the top. Mint green is one of my all time favorite colours especially mixed with tan, in my opinion a combo that isn’t enjoyed enough. I have on my Adidas tan sheep skin lined trainers, that are the comfiest things on the planet, and my over worn and loved tan cardie from Primark from many moons ago now. I love how easy these colours go together and it just gives a new season a fresh new look to it, even when using what you already own.
