I have done my usual thing of promising lots of posts this week over on twitter (paigecalvert1), and like usually the days just go so fast and I run out of time! So this outfit was worn last weekend, talk about delayed, sorry about that! However, it’s kind of more appropriate as the summer and august is nearly ending. This dress is the perfect item to take into autumn winter, but I’m still styling it for a warmer evening.

Last weekend my sister had a little get together at her new home, that is where I am taking these photos! The dress is beautiful and was gifted to me from a lovely store called Minueto. What I love is how I can wear it for summer evenings, so I don’t need a cardie or anything, and into winter with tights and boots! I am usually put off long sleeved dresses but because this is a light chiffon fabric it’s not too hot and easy to wear, not forgetting delicate and pretty. I wanted to add a more dressy touch, wearing these heeled chelsea boots from Shubox! I have wanted a pair for ages and they are perfect, so comfy to walk in and will go with any outfit day or night. I have accessorized this look in my usual vintage inspired and girly way, with the help of Eclectic Eccentricity. How beautiful are these items!?
