When all is at a loss and perhaps you have a little to much time on your hands, what better to do then put on a lovely dress. I was very lucky to get in contact with a lovely lady from the store Diksi. They are completely magical and prettier than anything I have ever seen. Their aesthetic is the epitome of everything I love, inspired by fantasy, day dreaming and nostalgia. The Spring Summer collection is completely dreamlike and extremely refreshing. when browsing through I think I could have ordered every single thing, and I’m not over exaggerating. I really hope you like them as much as I do! Would love to know what you think.
This pretty lilac number reminds me of being young, and wanting to dress up as a princess. It’s candy shade is a great choice for the summer, especially when worn in it’s simplicity with accessories kept to a minimum. I was really inspired by the photographic zine Diksi sent in the post. As an illustrator it made me think of all the things I could do when styling the look. As the fabric is covered in a dusting of glitter and the bodice is made from delicate lace, it really didn’t need more details. These gorgeous, if not perfect heels, also from Diksi where the perfect partnership with the lilac and bows. All that was left to do was to laze around, reading the short story of Ophelia and dream of the summer sunshine.
